Kindergarten to Grade 12

Saskatchewan's extensive education system includes a Kindergarten to Grade 12 public and separate (Catholic) school system paid for by the government.  Schools are located in communities across Saskatchewan.  Some schools offer French immersion programs.

Post-Secondary Education

Saskatchewan has world-class universities in its two major cities - the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon and the University of Regina in Regina.  The First Nations University of Canada offers its programs and services on three main campuses: Prince Albert (Northern Campus), Regina, and Saskatoon, in addition to various communities across Saskatchewan and Canada.

Skills training (such as welding, carpentry and other trades) is provided by the Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology (SIAST), Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies (SIIT) and Gabriel Dumont Institute (GDI)

SIAST has four campuses in Saskatoon, Regina, Moose Jaw and Prince Albert.

Nine Regional colleges, as well as numerous private vocational schools and career colleges, provide post-secondary education and skills training across Saskatchewan.
