The Canadian province of Saskatchewan is a prosperous and exciting place for entrepreneurs.  The SINP Entrepreneur Category offers you and your family the opportunity to establish, acquire or partner in a business in Saskatchewan and be actively involved in that business’ management.   It offers a faster way to establish yourself in Saskatchewan with permanent residency than through the federal CIC process. 

Saskatchewan’s economy currently has the highest growth rate of any province in Canada:

  • Saskatoon is expected to have a 1.7% economic growth and Regina is expected to have a 1.6% economic growth, the highest of Canada’s 13 major cities

According to a recent evaluation of tax friendly provinces, Saskatchewan has the most business-friendly premium and payroll taxes. 

Saskatchewan has a lower cost of living than most provinces:

  • Total provincial taxes are under $6,300 (for family income of $75,000)
  • Estimated household costs per year are $17,300
  • Housing costs are lower in Saskatchewan than in most major cities in Canada, and owning a home is affordable and achievable for most people

Saskatchewan is known for its higher quality of life due to the excellent education programs, healthcare facilities, and living conditions:

  • Saskatchewan’s education credentials are recognized world wide
  • There are no personal premiums or charges for basic health services
  • The population density in Saskatchewan is 1.67 people per KM2 

Saskatchewan is rich in natural resources: 

  • Saskatchewan has 100,000 lakes and rivers
  • We are the world’s largest producer of both potash and uranium
