You can find available jobs in many places: on the internet, in newspaper advertisements, at job fairs or on community bulletin boards. 


Are there any websites that list available jobs?

Here are some websites you may want to check regularly for Saskatchewan jobs:

  • Saskjobs.ca is the largest job-posting site in Saskatchewan.  It has job postings in entry-level, trade, professional and management positions.
  • Job Bank is the Government of Canada's electronic listing of jobs from everywhere across Canada.  It lists thousands of job opportunities that you can search through by title, availability and time of posting.
  • Saskatchewan Government Careers lists jobs available in the provincial government.
  • Health Careers in Saskatchewan lists health care jobs with Saskatchewan Regional Health Authorities and the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency.
  • A list of other websites that list Saskatchewan jobs can be found on Saskjobs.ca.
    • Some available jobs are not posted on websites or in the newspaper.  You may need to establish contacts with people working here to learn about some of these jobs.

Where can I get help finding a job after I arrive in Saskatchewan?

After you arrive in Saskatchewan, there are some organizations that may be able to help you find work. 

  • Can-Sask Career and Employment Services Offices: There are 20 Canada-Saskatchewan Career and Employment Services Offices across Saskatchewan.  Staff at these offices can help you find information on career and job opportunities, training and/or education options.
  • Immigrant Serving Organizations:  There are a number of organizations that can provide you with information and guidance that will help you once you arrive in Saskatchewan.  They may be able to help you find English language classes, look for work, have documents translated and meet other immigrants.
