There are a number of regulated occupations in Saskatchewan.  These occupations require a license, certification or membership.

A regulatory body sets standards of practice, and licenses, certifies or registers members.  Before you can work in a regulated occupation, the regulatory body must assess your qualifications and give you permission to work.  You may find differences in the rules for each of the provinces in Canada.

The information in this section is organized into two groups: health professions and occupations outside the health sector.

If you are looking for information about a health profession, click here.

If you are looking for information about an occupation outside the health sector, see the chart below.  Click on the name of the occupation to open a guide designed to help you find the information you need to become licensed and work in Saskatchewan.

Inside each document, you will find this image on the bottom, right-hand corner of each page.  The image will take you back to the diagram at the beginning of each document.
