Eligibility

You may qualify to apply under the SINP Student Category if:

  1. You have graduated with a certificate, a diploma or degree from a recognized post-secondary educational institution in Canada. The program must have been at least one academic year (eight months) of full-time study.
  2. You have worked for a Saskatchewan employer for a minimum of six months under a Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) post-graduation work permit. The job must be in an occupation related to your field of study.
  3. You have a current, permanent, full-time job offer from your employer.

How to Apply

The applicant must submit a complete application package to the Government of Saskatchewan, Immigration Services Division including:

  • Original SINP forms
  • Original Government of Canada forms
  • Photocopies of required supporting documents, please DO NOT send originals

Only the Government of Canada forms will be returned to you. If your SINP application is approved, you will also receive SINP documents to be submitted with your federal application.

Your first step is to download the Application Guide and Checklist. The Guide walks you through the application process and provides information about which forms and supporting documents you need to include in your application.

Once you have worked your way through the Guide, gathered your supporting documents and completed all of the necessary forms, use the Checklist to ensure you have not missed anything. Incomplete applications cannot be processed and will result in delay. Links to all of the forms are included below for easy access.
